Full planning permission and building warrant permissions have now been approved by the Local Authority, meaning that once a contractor has been selected we can start on the refurbishment works and get this building looking great once again!
Tender paperwork was sent out to various contractors and we now have the completed tenders returned. We are now at a stage together with our architect and quantity surveyor of scrutinising these tenders to ensure that we select the most competitive quote, along with the best contractors for the job – We hope to complete this process in the upcoming weeks.
Along with this we are working with various other professional organisations to develop a lease and all associated paperwork to allow us to advertise and appoint tenants to run the Kenmuir Arms.
